Accessible Space is Hiring a Caretaker Near McAlester, OK
Accessible Space Inc. (ASI) is a national nonprofit organization providing housing and personal care services to individuals with physical disabilities, seniors and veterans.
We are currently seeking an experienced Part Time Property Caretaker to perform general upkeep and maintenance for our apartment building in McAlester, OK
You can live on site (optional) 2 Bedroom unit available for FREE! Rate of pay : $17 - $18 hour
You will also be responsible for a variety of administrative duties including maintaining an inventory of supplies, completing move in paperwork and showing vacant units to prospective residents.

Qualifications for the position : Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing. Ability to effectively and appropriately interact with individuals with disabilities.
- Possession of basic mechanical skills along with an ability to perform routine building and grounds maintenance. Physical ability to : kneel;
- crouch; stoop; climb stairs / ladders; push and pull up to 100 pounds; lift up to 50 pounds; reach and work above shoulder level;
use hands and fingers to grasp, pull, and manipulate tools, machinery, and other objects; and the ability to work above ground level.
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A minimum of one year of experience in performing minor building and maintenance repairs.
Availability to complete general work responsibilities Monday through Friday between the hours of 7am and 6pm.
